The proof that you have something is in the fact that you give it away. “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit” (Mat 7:18). If it is a tree, especially a kingdom tree, it will bear; it will produce (Psa 1:3). Otherwise, it will end up like the withered fig tree (Mat 21:19). If you are born again and have never healed anyone, it is because you have yet to awaken, stir, or arouse the healing that is dormant inside you. Or you do not have it. If you truly are Christ’s and have “been born of God [then] …His seed [nature, principle of life, and divine sperm permanently] remains in you” (1Joh 3:9).

Do Not Deny Yourself The Capacity to Divinely Heal or Be Divinely Healed.

That seed is the Word of God, the Spirit of Christ. But “if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His [does not belong to Christ as a true child of God]” (Rom 8:9). Since you are born-again and belong to Christ, then not manifesting the divine ability to heal is to deny who and what you are. It is to walk in the flesh; catering to the appetites and impulses of your carnal nature. And “those who walk [live life] in the flesh cannot please God [or be acceptable to Him]. But you [a true believer] are not [living] in the flesh but [are living the life of and] in the Spirit, if indeed the Holy Spirit of God [really occupies and] dwells in you… And if Christ is [lives] in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life [alive] because of righteousness [that He imputes or planted in you]. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then], He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to [re-vitalize, heal and make whole] your mortal [perishable] bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Rom 8:8-11).

The seed, which is the Word of God, the Spirit of Christ, the divine ability to heal, which has been imputed or planted inside you because you are born of God can be grown to produce healing fruits in and through you. However, it can be stifled and made unproductive, and so you are not able to heal even when you want or try to. It can be stifled by (a) lack of understanding or proper discipleship, which is a function of (b) lack of foundation or sense of commitment, which is a function of (c) lack of care for the kingdom life but cares for worldly pleasures. According to the parable of the sower;

Therefore, hear the [meaning of the] parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not [grasp, comprehend or] understand it, then the wicked [Evil] One comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside [outside of proper church structure and discipleship]. But he who received the seed on stony places [rocky soil or under difficult circumstances], this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy [and enthusiasm]; yet he has no root [soil of character, commitment, or spiritual underpinning] in himself, but endures only for a while [till emotions wear off]. For when [affliction, trouble] tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles [repels, distrusts, doubts the Lord and falls away].  Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world [the pleasure, delight, and glamor] and the deceitfulness of riches choke [and suffocate] the word, and he becomes unfruitful [unable to produce spiritual fruits]. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and [grasps, comprehends, and] understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces [spiritual fruits expected of disciples]: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." (Mat13:18-23).

That You Shot Your Eyes will not make the World Disappear. Open it, and the Truth, Like the Physical World, Remains The Truth.

We become effective Christians to produce desirable outcomes when we are pragmatic about the Truth. In this case the Truth about Divine Healing. In this way, we get to learn and understand quickly, to submit to a daily life-changing experience with God, which guides our conduct. Following this approach minimizes the confusion many Christians have about divine healing and about their ability to heal sick people. Instead of just having an intellectual concept of, and or powerless experience with, God, we become practical about learning how to minister healing to a needing world.

Given that our “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1Cor 14:33), we will examine and analyze the healing lifestyle and methods of Jesus in the Gospels and the Acts of His apostles, in the following sections and chapters of the book. So, we can learn and be fully instructed “to observe [and practice] all things that [He] has commanded [us]” knowing that he is with us, always, on all occasions, to the end of the age (Mat 28:20).

Practice Divine Healing; It is the Key to Learning and Performing

The endowment or ability to heal is not natural. It is divine and so, a supernatural exercise. Therefore, the divine ability to heal can hardly be taught or transferred to you by natural people. But the Holy Spirit, who is the Healer, Himself only, can teach and has endowed you with the gifts of healings and miracle working abilities, if you belong to Christ (1Cor 12:7-10). However, through natural exercise or practice, you can continuously improve and excel in performing healing for the benefit of all. “But solid food is for full-grown [mature] people, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by constant practice [reason of use and habit]… (Heb 5:14).
